I wave the flag for Paula, my dear sister, whose life path was extremely difficult but didn’t squelch her spirit, humor, creativity, or her unending puns. Paula grew into being brave enough to become who she was, a trans lesbian. I wave for all transgenders, the young, young at heart, and my many LGBTQI friends and family.
I wave for everyone who allows their heart to be bigger than their politics, to resonate heart to heart, human to human, to become who they are.
